Captain Planet (part II)

It wasn’t long ago that A.B.S. brought you an exciting new way to save the environment, peeing in the shower. But there are many other ways to do your part to help your planet. So now that you aren’t really using the toilet, you might wonder what to do with all that wasted water just sitting in the bowl. There is a better use for that water besides letting your pets drink from it. Dirty dishes. Quit wasting all that electricity and water to run your dishwasher and start taking your dirty dishes to the toilet.

Washing your dishes in the bowl works best with a dish brush with an elongated handle. This allows you of course to access the water in the toilet with the most ease. After you have cleaned the dirty dish to satisfaction, try dipping it into the water to rinse it off and then store it in the bathroom sink to drip dry while you continue cleansing your other dishes. When you are finished with all your dishes, simply flush the toilet. No mess, no fuss. And while you were washing your dishes, you were also cleaning your toilet. But since you hardly use it for its intended purpose, it wasn’t really that dirty to begin with.

And remember to give yourself a pat on the back when thinking of all the energy and water you saved when you use your clean dishes to distract you from thinking about where your dishes have actually been.
