Thanks to the New York Giant the apocalypse has been delayed. We here at A.B.S are all for the end of man so needless to the Patriots loss was quite a set back. Now some of you are confused I can tell. You are wondering how does a Pat’s loss delay the apocalypse? That is easy. Boston sports fans are supposed to be long suffering. Their teams are supposed to lose in a painful way at the worst time. Since 2001, a stragne oddesy began. Boston has won 2 World Series and 3 Super Bowls. Arthur C. Clark was right about something big, but instead of H.A.L. we get obnoxious sorority girls in pink Bo Sox hats talking about hot Josh Becket is. Surely this is a sign of the Apocalypse.
This is the way the worlds ends
This is the way the worlds ends
This is the way the worlds ends
Not with a bang but with a whimper.
T.S. Elliot
If the sound of sorority girls talking about sports doesn’t make you whimper, then you are devoid of human emotion.
Once Boston teams not named the Celtic’s started winning championships, we all knew that the end was nigh. Boston teams simply should not win. Hell the Pats aren’t ever supposed to be relevant. Then suddenly they are working on a dynasty, working on the 4th championship in 7 years. Bad things were coming to the Earth.
Then, from nowhere, a miracle. The Giants won. They beat the four horsemen of Brady, Welker, Moss, Stallworth, Gafney, Moroney, Light, Watson, and . I never did well in math. It was done by a prophet named Eli.
Now the last Eli who did prophetic work was also the guy who anointed a new king. You might have heard of him. He was the one who killed Goliath, you know David. This Eli also helped David slay Goliath and delay the apocolpse. We now have to see him every 15 minutes in commercial as payment for the debt we owe him(or the TV show mentioned below). Since Boston teams winning has come to a momentary end we know the end is not as close as we thought.
But wait…Our savior came from New York. That too is a sign of the end of man.
Once again the end is nigh.
Thank you Eli Manning.
K Tuttle.(Thanks Tom. The period does really finish the name off)
